I do not have Xfinity Wireless/Voice/Phone service. I have Google Fi instead, and I just received an upgrade to a Pixel 7a. Unfortunately it's locked for Xfinity (I have no idea why...mistake at the warehouse?) and I can't activate it until Xfinity unlocks it. Is that even possible?

I've tried putting my Google Fi SIM card into the new Pixel 7a, but the home screen says the SIM card is not compatible and that I need to contact Xfinity about unlocking the device. I've tried the Xfinity Assistant but can't get it to put me through
