I moved and wanted to cancel xfinity since my new address only provides a community service, not xfinity services. When looking at the xfinity website for availability, it's confirmed service is unavailable at my new location. Yet I still get charged a termination fee for canceling when this is completely out of my control? I would've brought my internet with me if I could but xfinity itself says service is not available here. Legally this doesn't seem right, and customer support was no help explaining the situation. I'm now being charged $50 for termination when xfinity fails to provide service at new address. Is this right?
