Today, I scheduled a call-back from Xfinity on the app to ask some questions about my promotional rate. I received my call back in less than 1 minute. The lady was very sweet, and had a bit of an accent. She asked if how many devices I have using the internet (attempting to help lower my bill, I am assuming). I told her I had been working from home since March due the pandemic and would like to keep the current internet speed. She said "You have been working from home?" I told her yes and I emphasized how ready I was to go back to work." She said "Oh wow! Our situation is the opposite here! I have not been home in two months and have not got to see my children in two months! As much as I miss them, I know providing food for them is most important." (Of course this was right after I had told my child to be quiet that I was on the phone and apologized to her for the background noise). I immediately was taken back and started crying and told her how sorry I was that she was going through that due to the pandemic. I asked where she was located and if in the US and she said she was in the Philippines. I did not get her name, but by the end of the phone call she and I were both in tears. She was so kind and warm despite her circumstances. I just wanted to brag on her and hope she gets the recognition she deserves. The phone call was today, 08/14/2020, at approximately 9:20AM CST. I hope your company can at least send her a message letting her know that she and her babies are in my thoughts and prayers. Please feel free to contact me about this wonderful experience. I so appreciate customer service like what I just received. I am going to try to reach out to corporate and other platforms so this KUDOS can reach as high as possible in your company. If you can after reading this, please forward it on to your supervisor and so on so she can receive the thanks she deserves! Thank you!
