In January I switched to xfinity from att to get faster speed. I got an upgraded account the promised me free pods after a 14 day assessment period. After 6 months I received a text message and an email saying that I was now qualified to get the pods. The txt and email included a link to place my order for the free pods. But the link doesn’t work. I get an error saying that I need to speak with a rep via chat or the 800 number. I did both. No one at Xfinity seems to recognize the emails and offer for the pods. They say the only way to get them is through the link that doesn’t work. This is complete false advertising and reminds me of Comcast’s poor customer service from years ago when I left Comcast for att. Some things don’t change.

Today (August 10) I received a text from xFinity: Just For You GET PODS FOR BETTER COVERAGE As part of xFi Advantage, we received your home WIFI performance. Results show xFi Pods could improve your coverage. Available to you at no extra cost, Pods are easy to use and even easier to install. Get pods ____ When I click on the action button I start the process but it comes up with an error. I have to connect with Xfinity via chat or 800#. I opted to chat. I then wasted an hour of my time. Bottom line: the text is FALSE ADVERTISING. There is no promo. There is no assessment (as far as I can tell), and I've received no emails. I've gotten the complete run around. And I switched from ATT to this. Poor choice. Don't go with Xfinity.
