I just got ARRIS SBG8300 about 25 days ago. We have been having regular issues with either of 2.4GHZ or 5 GHZ wifi stops working but the wired network and other wifi signal is fine. Reboot fixes the issue, but we work from home and my kid is taking online college lessons. We cannot afford to reboot the darn modem everyday. Xfinity support had me change the channel for 2.4 to 6 and 5GHZ to 149. But that did not stop the issue from happening today. Until today, the downstream and upstream signal strengths used to be good, but today the downstream signal strength dropped to 37 avg. ARRIS support was almost ready to give me replacement modem but they saw the darn upstream signal strength low and said it is Xfinity issue. I have been with Xfinity for 25 days and already fed up.
