@ComcastMichael First, how is it no Comcast employee has responded on this thread for about a year?   I'm in my 30 day trial of using this service and have to say extremely disappointed in the Roku App coming from a company like Comcast.  Calling tech support is a nightmare, considering you get people who don't speak English and don't understand streaming... at all.   My main problem is the guide... It doesn't save favorites correctly. If I do it online it doesn't push over. If I do it in the app which is tedious, it continues to either add channels or remove them. Sometimes nothing comes up and I have to exit the app and restart it.   Plus, after watching tv for a while and going to the guide nothing loads as you scroll. You just get the little dots in each of the sections. Also, the guide won't tell you the shows coming up for future hours that do load, it's just blank.  Once again, you need to exit and restart the app to get it to work.   How is it that Comcast can't get a guide to work correctly? There's no updates on the app, there's no information what you're doing to fix things, what's coming out new, nothing.... just silence. I find it incredible that Comcast hampers even stations they own. Yes, they own Sky News in the UK.  Also odd that CNBC World isn't in the lineup even though they own it. But by all means let's keep duplicating the same channels over and over to make it appear you're getting 200 channels, when you're not. I'm aware that it isn't a set top box, your point?   Being a set top box is irrelevant. Sony Vue, YouTube TV, Philo, etc. all have managed to have Pause, FF, Rewind during a live show. All this is and was (Vue) available using a Roku or other device.  It has nothing whatsoever to do with being a set top box, it has to do with the coding of the app.   I'm not going to record a show just to use something that should already be available. Besides you only get 20 hours of DVR.   Face facts and reality, this app is poor and from a company like Comcast it is beyond ridiculous.  Also the fact you don't seem to know what apps are capable of and comparing it to a set top box speaks volumes of your knowledge on this particular subject. ... I noticed this as well... I'm not understanding why this app is so far behind compared to others. Pausing , FF, Rewind is something everyone else has had for years.... This app is beyond basic and there is no excuse for it ... View more
