Ever since September 2019 the internet frequently drops for a second or two 24/7. Tried grabbing a brand new router. that didn't work. Other than that there has been no changes whatsoever, and it's getting a little tiring not being able to do any actual online gaming (Anything competitive is completely out the window, lag makes it completley unplayable when it freezes up every minute). When my computer is connected to a completely different wifi source, I have no issues, so it's definitely on the comcast side. Whether it is a faulty modem or not, I odn't know, but it worked great prior to that date and on an outdated (3 years or so) wifi router. I've tried communicating with the "technical support" that xfinity offers, but all they did was "reset" the modem numerous times, once creating a brand new wifi signal from the modem called "comcast1" with the password being the name. That is still sitting there as well. Just by reading throughout the other forum posts, and spending hours googline other forums, it appears that comcast just likes to point the finger at everything else instead of taking any accountability for the issue on their end.
