I recently switched to Comcast Xfinity. The tech who installed the box outside set up the internet for me. The next morning I had to call customer support because I couldn't get on the internet (bad password). The lady I spoke to was very nice and helpful and told me about the xFi app. I downloaded it and I get this message: This site can’t be reachedxerxes-sub.xerxessecure.com refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection. I uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. It's hard to get through to customer service. While ago we had a power outage and when it came back on I tried the app and was able to sign in. It asked if I wanted to set up a gateway, which confused me. I thought it was already set up, since I've been using it over a week. Then it said there was a technician working in the area. Anyway, before I had a chance to do anything we had another power outage and now that power has been restored I'm back to the same error: This site can’t be reachedxerxes-sub.xerxessecure.com refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection. Please help. I was told to uninstall and reinstall, which I did again, but it's still not working.
