It's not just a Roku issue. I've got the same problem on my Samsung smart tv. I was able to use the app fine for a few days, but I stumbled upon the purchases menu and Boom! I'm stuck on this screen with only 2 options. Watch either of the two movies I've purchased, or exit the app. I too have taken all the steps to fix this but upon a re-install the app brings me right back to this page. Side note the app is working fine on the Roku3 that I have, however I won't be accessing the purchases tab any time soon. Keep me posted if there's a way to fix it.
