I'm having the exact same thing happen to my Internet over the same time line. Before, my XFinity was very solid. Now, I get disconnects all day. I frequently work from home so I do use my Internet all the time. I get dropouts for Internet access daily lasting from about a minute to half an hour or more sometimes. Sometimes it will come back on its own and othertimes I have to power cycle the modem to get it to work. My laptop is connected to the Xfinity equipment by Ethernet and it is what I use for work. I experience the dropouts on the wired and wireless network.
My equipment is the leased XFinity equipment that looks like a tall slender box standing on its edge. I've tried to reach out to the XFinity chat for trouble and also request call back but can't get a human to respond to me.
