Hi, I recently transferred phone service from Consumer Cellular to Xfinity Mobile and ever since, GPS has been nonexistent on my Apple iPhone 8+. The Global Positioning System service worked perfectly on CC but has never worked with Xfinity. No settings had been changed from the prior service. Since then, I have tried restarting the phone, turning off location services for Waze and maps and turning them back on again, changing the location service for these apps to Always On, closing and reopening the apps, and even letting the battery run out and recharging to full... I've seen this other post and tried everything there and in the Apple Toolbox link, so I assume it's Xfinity. https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Xfinity-Mobile/Mobile-GPS/m-p/3179563#M17785 How is your GPS Access supposed to work? Does it cost extra? I don't remember being asked if I wanted to upgrade to the GPS-enabled version of the service but I think I need to do that. Where do I go for that?
