I am having similar issues. Had my service installed last week. I have the xi5 in one of my rooms and wired boxes everywhere else. Using Comcast equipment so their gateway and had professional install done. Have the gigabit speed if that matters. All of my wired boxes work fine. Wireless internet works on my iPhones but had issues on other devices and my xi5 won’t work. I had one that worked for a day then stopped working went into welcome screen bootloop and won’t connect to the gateway. I went to the xfinity store and got another one, it worked for 2 days and same thing happened. Called Comcast and they are sending a tech but this is madness. My apartment is 3 bedrooms and the gateway is i t he living room. It’s all one floor so only like 20 feet from any wireless device through a wall each at most. Any ideas? I’m thinking maybe the tech installed something wrong inside the apartment as when i called Comcast they said my signals look great coming in to the apartment. I noticed a splitter that is being used to connect my living room tv and the modem as they are in the same room. Any ideas?
