I recently disconnected/cancelled my service with Comcast and was met with the same restricted URL when trying to make my final payment (days later).
I assumed my payments were good since I cancelled and paid with a representative... I assumed wrong. I just got a letter from a collections agency.
I was never sent a final bill in the mail (haven't moved, just switched providers.. THANK GOD) nor received any phone calls unless it was marked as spam/black listed.
So glad that once I make this final payment I shouldn't ever have to deal with Comcast and their shady business practices. I'm getting 2x the speed (symmetrical) for the same price on a dedicated fiber line now.
Again, thanks Comcast for sending me to collections over $67. They always want to call me to sign up for some new Triple Play offer... but final payment? Straight to a collection agency. How their new offer calls still get through, I'll never know. Again shady business practices probably ghosting the phone numbers or using workers from their home/personal lines.
