I am not exactly finding this answer, so pardon if this is a repeat that I overlooked. We have a great deal of recorded viewing. There was a tornado in the area recently and we lost internet access. I would think that we could watch our recorded shows while the repairs were in progress, but the box will not finish the boot until it has an internet connection. It seems as if we are actually just streaming shows that we have marked as recorded. Am I missing the steps to watch the recorded shows during an internet outage?
This may help, but we are about to do the equipment replacement. If that capability is not available on the existing DVR, will it be on the new unit?

This should be simple. I have Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet. I bought an Xfinity Mobile phone thinking for some reason that these were part of the same company. I have an active offer in my hand from the postal service, and my Xfinity account login says that I have several offers available to me. I tried to exercise one of the options yesterday and move my Xfinity Mobile phone into a Triple play and upgrade my account. This is probably the only provider not in the list. Why is this? I had my wallet out to upgrade, and cannot get past the phone tab because I own an Xfinity Mobile phone. The offer was mailed to me, and a better one is available to me when I login to my account. The chat people basically tell me to call someone else. This should be almost trivially simple. I need to keep my current phone number. Do I have to cancel my Xfinity Mobile, Get Cricket or something for one month, and *then* transfer the number from there?
I had 10 minutes set aside for this yesterday, and wound up burning 2 hours with no resolution.
Please help me.

I have been fighting this problem for over a year. My blood pressure was great and I was feeling great an hour ago. I have an offer letter in my hand to have Internet, TV, phone, and security for $189.99 per month. I don't even need security. I have had Xfinity TV and Internet for years. I bought an Xfinity Mobile phone thinking for some silly reason that Xfinity and Xfinity Mobile were related. Apparently they are not. In trying to exercise the offer presented to me when I login to my account, Xfinity Mobile is not in the list of carriers in transferring my existing number. This is stupid. Do I need to cancel my cell phone, go to Boost for a month, and then transfer the number. The Boost phone @ $30 a month is looking very pretty at this moment. The amount I pay to have TV and Internet is high enough. Why can't I transfer my number and use the Triple Play? It is in my offers in my login session. I am very frustrated right now, and I did not intend to start my day this way. The offers are a scam if I cannot use any of them.
