Well, a funny thing happened while we were waiting and the jury isn't in yet BUT.... For the last few days, I have not had the issue. Not sure if there was a Software/Firmware Update between then and now. But to recap and answer your questions. It happens on any mode, App or Live TV. Every time I turn on my TV/Cable/AV, I have to change the Device Settings/Video back to 'Best Available' . It doesn't happen when I'm watching TV/App, only when I power everyting back up.
