I recently received an offer in the mail about this. I have been an Internet-only customer since the beginning, and I use other streaming services like Hulu Live, Netflix, and Amazon Video.
This is definetely a move in the right direction by Comcast, but it is still missing support for crucial platorms like Chromecast and Samsung Smart TVs. Customers like me will not consider this option for this very reason.
I don't watch TV on my computer/tablet. I watch it on big screen, and the only way to get the content there is to either cast it (e.g. Chromecast) or use TV's built-in smart OS. I don't want to install a new box, I don't want to run a cable, or switch inputs. I just want programming to be available, and searchable along with other content providers. I understand this new service supports Roku, which is great, but there are many of us who use either built-in Smart TV OS, or other platforms like Amazon Fire Stick, and Chromecast.
If Comcast offered Hulu Live or Youtube TV capabilities in the same price range, I would definetly consider this option. Until then I see no reason to do so.
