seems like buying directly from Apple as an unlocked phone might be a better way to go with all these restrictions Xfinity puts on it. Then just drop your sim in it. Looks like they give 18 month financing so that is a small downside as xfinity offers 24 month.
Any other downsides to buying it unlocked from Apple?
Don't you have to pay the full $699 upfront if you want to go that route?
I'm trying to figure out how to stick with a payment plan, but I'm a bit confused. For example, since my current service is ATT, should I buy the ATT version on the payment plan and then switch? Can I do that with the 11?
Like my post says they offer 18 month financing.
I bought an iphone 8 thru Apple with their 24 month payment plan while using ATT and then switched to xfinity 2 months later. We had to get a cheap phone / sim from xfinity then just made sure it was unlocked from ATT and then put the xfinity sim in. Wife has used it for nearly 2 years with no complaints. not sure if she uses voicemail.
