we have recently moved and moved all our services. We had a tech come and install our cable and internet. It went prety well he had to arange some cables and everything worked. however the next day i started noticeing a problem. On the downstairs tv with the main box (there are two other tvs hooked up) sometimes if the tv has been off for more than 1 or 2 hours u must power cylce the cable box too get picture. All other tvs and internet work fine.
I am not sure if i should call a tech out because i cant always replicate the problem or should i take the box too comcast store for replacement. The box worked at my old house. I am very hesitant too take box too my comcast store because as in my old posts the store in aurora colorado takes hours.
what do you guys think?

Recently my cable box in living room started too make a terible screching noise and obviously needed replacement. So i held my breath and on thursday of last week at 1 in the afternoon i went too my local comcast office too swap the box out. I dont understand how there is an hour wait too just swap a box out. this is not an isolated incident every time i neeed too go too the comcast offfice in aurora colorado is way over an hour. the last two times just swaping out equipment is way over an hour just too talk to someone. once i seee someone is about 5 minutes. I am not argureing over my bill or getting new services for my cell phone. just want to get new box.
can i sugest that u have a sepreate line or person just too swap equipment? I have realtives in two different comcast markets and they never wait that long. Your services is excellent by the time i seee someone but at that point i am already mad for waiting so long. it is nice u offer water and the repersentive offered me two movie rentals but how about just making things faster? in a fairness i ended up signing a new contract but i was up there about 7 minutes.

i can not play shows recorded on dvr offine through app on my 3 andriod devices. I have contact support and had ticket elevated ticket i was just wondering if it is outage or just me. I get "playback error 106000 error 45."

I always hear bad things in here about comcast and i am guilty of it too but i would like to post two small things comcast has done lately that i have noticed and appericated. Fi rst of all now when i am on a tv chanal i have a reminder set for it does not pop up a reminder but just says here is your show. secondly when i record a show on my dvr it doesnt cut off the end even though time for the recording has run out.
Two minor things but is showing that comcast is evolving and i have noticed so thank you

me too. will not play dvr or stream. On demand works. on several devices. it says something has gone wrong. On laptop also. lease fix

what i researched it is saying by the error that i am not at home. well i am watching on tv right now. My laptop is useing chrome if it matters. i am hooked to my home network. My wife wants to watch something else on tv i thought i would watch game on laptop. I supose there is no fix for this. comcast always say we will fit in your life more like u have to live with our bugs since u dont have any other choice and we know about them but we will never fix them.

Yes it all works on tv the dvr. I can watch no problems. Just need to stream on the app. This not a one time deal. The shows i record often have trouble playing through the stream app or the website. I just wish it worked as well as the dvr through the tv.

Tired of bugs. All I want to do is watch a dvr recording on my tablet. All the recordings work on my tablet but mysteries at the muesuem season 16 episode 12. It will not load. About 3 weeks ago I lost all my recordings in that they no longer could b played on internet according to customer service I called. Before that I had streaming problems through the website on my laptop. These were known bugs that never got fixed. I can't believe that they just say we know we have problem but we will never fix it. I have no real choices besides comcast. Our internet and tv are unreliable. Outages are weekely. My niehborhood is out much more often than my grandmas in the same city, save a richer part with Comcast. My parents in Oregon have no problems with Comcast. My lines have been replaced. New modem. Comcast even added amplifier because weak signal. Still have problems weekly. Modem restarts by itself daily. If u are out there and u care Comcast please give us a hand.

i might be impatient but i would like to know when comcast will fix the dvr issues on mobile and laptop. i cant watch any of my recordings on my laptop or phone, or tablet. just says i have no recordings. This is extremely anoying to me i thought it would b fixed in 24 hours but no. I also wonder how many people this effects and if it just my neighborhood? it aperently does not effect oregon comcast users as my parents still works. thank u

Cant get mobile stream app to see dvr on any device since this morning. Talked to customer rep via chat. Says they refreshed and should work in 60 min does not. Bill is payed. They said they would elevate it and I should get call 📱 within 24 hours. Real bummed because I wanted to watch Stanley Cup playoffs I recorded on my tablet. So my wife could watch k dramas on tv. On edit: I called customer service after 23 minutes on phone they said there was a problem on their end they were working on it. I wish that maybe Comcast could tell the first person u talk to about it. Instead of trying to trouble shoot a problem that there is nothing to b done.

this is some weird bug i have found with chrome if i click on "for you" i can stream again but if click on "recordings" i get the three dot thing loop.

today sundely i am not able to watch programs i have recorded on my dvr, on my laptop. I open chrome. click on bookmark say conecting to experinces. it conects shows all recorded programs as normal. Then when i select a show it just shows 3 dots and will not load. I have windows 10. have tried loging out and in. restarting laptop, modem, and dvr tv box without any luck.ty also cleared catch and cookies in chrome.
On edit i was able to stream useing microsoft edge. Maybe someone can explain to me why i had to start useing chrome instead of firefox because sound is messed up. I now cant use chrome to stream because it will not load. so i must use microsoft edge.
ON another edit i got chrome to work but the sound is distorted. Now all browser have distorted sound. I can watch on demand fine but i record shows so i doant have to watch commericals. when my wife and son get home i will try on their laptops. all other streaming works like youtube. is only on comcast site.
