I've had the same issue recurring since last October and had to call into custer support probably 10 times.
If there is a Comcast rep reading this then I'd sure like to have this work.
For me - when HBO does not let me log in/stream via ANY app, my OnDemand also does not have any functionality.
I've tried using multiple web browsers, clearning cache/history/etc in all of them, reloading app on smart tv, deleting and reloading both comcast and HBO go app on multiple iPads and phones, creating a new user on my account, trying to log in with multiple usernames, changing my password.
Does anyone know a permanenet solution other than just using another provider?
