If I had a tail, it would be like chasing it. Whenever I get an obvious fake email about a business like a bank, I can send it to abuse@bank-x.com. However, when I get one from "Xfinity", I try to find where to send it and get the whole dialogue about if it's from a comcast.net account. Example today I received an Account Activity Alert stating:
We Have Detected Unknown Login Activity With Your Comcast Account.
Login Incident Details: Eastern Belarus( IP Address : 12.90.99.56 )
If this Was NOT You Please Call Comcast Prevention & Security Team at 1-833-235-4853, which is not Comcast but instead the"Windows Support group that calls regularly, they are not a Microsoft entity either. If Xfinity/comcast doesn't care who uses their name or logo, I guess I shouldn't either?
