I searched for 'Men's Free Skate Replay', which is a show listed in the "Best of Figure Skating" for the 2018 Winter Olympics. Since NBC makes this nearly impossible to watch (because Nathan Chen didn't win gold), I tried searching for it online at https://tv.xfinity.com Comcast does not know how to build a search index (hint: ask a search engine to index your own database and things will work a whole lot better), it seems nearly impossible to find a specific show. Typing Olympics comes up with every single result, but the full replay of any event is buried three pages deep after highlights for every skater.

I guess the only thing to do is go back to the previous days where the DVR had no auto-extend feature - just tack on 90 minutes of recording which works for most games. Just tried to record tonights NFL game (Broncos @ Chiefs), recording stopped with 10 minutes left to play in the 4th quarter. Comcast sells us features that don't work and we still have to pay for the whole package.

This is tagged as a "Solution" to the post "Auto-extend does not work". Who is Comcast fooling ? Fixing a broken feature is simply to turn it off ? Auto-extend actually records less time than the programmed game (2hrs 50 mins instead of the full 3 hours). Tivo never failed at this, and that was more than 10 years ago. Bravo Comcast. Does DirecTV's DVR work better ?
