I have a simple work around for this delemma. Instead of pressing pause, I press STOP. The program is bookmarked where I left off and placed in the Recently Viewed Menu location. When I come back, I pull-up the show I was watching from Recently Viewed and click the option to continue rather than start from the beginning. It's not perfect, you have to press several buttons and truge through menues but in the end you get to pick-up where you left off rather then be forced to start from the beginning. @raptyrred wrote: Hello, Not being able to fast forward through commericials is annoying to say the least. What is even more annoying is when you pause (washroom break) to find that you have to watch the program from the beginning as it did not save where you left off. And since fast forward is disabled for some programs, you are stuck with having to go through the program to the point you left off. Say you are 30 minutes into an hour long program. You pause to go the the bathroom (get a snack) and OPPS you took too long and the program in no longer paused but instead it is in the Recently Viewed folder. And the program starts at the beginning (AGAIN).

I don't like it either but I must disagree with you on one point. Being forced to sit through commercials when you've already paid for the content isn't communism. It's unbridled Republican screw the middle class horay for money Capitalism with a capitol "C". @Pharrell wrote: yeah found about this earlier it sucks why do we want to sit and watch commericials if we outright pay for the content It's cool if there are commercial live but forcing us to sit through a commercial is commuinism.
