In the last 60 days Comcast suddenly says I'm using more than 300 gb a month, but I don't stream movies etc and I monitor my gateway with Fing and no one is piggybacking. I've recently switched all my devices over to the Xfinity hotspot I'm in, but they say I still use 10 gb a day, kinda strange isn't it? I talked to Philly ( boy, that was hard to do, another story ) and he says if anything they under report on their equip. Sounds to me like someone is not being completely truthful.
