Have a tech coming out next week but was curious if anyone else had this issue. SpeedTest our Kindle fire and we see 30mb downloads. Reset the Wi-Fi Module via 10.0.0.1 and we get speeds of nearly 300mb BUT it only lasts 30-60 min and we have to reset again. 2nd (wi-fi related issue) watching a YouTube video on the X1 if we rewind it more than 10 seconds the video gets stuck in buffering with audio/video out of sync and freezing. Have to exit out, go to History, and restart watching. But, you guessed it, Reset Wi-Fi Module and that goes away for 30-60 min.

Hi and thank you for the reply - hope your week was good too! What I found was that texts (actually texts turned into emails) with the domains vpix.com and vzwpix.com often (but oddly not always) wind up in Comcast's spam filter... TIA, Bob

Hi - Verizon text to Comcast email is frequently not getting through. We've even logged into Comcast.net and sent emails to the Verizon addresses (ending in @vtext.com and vzwpix.com) and they are received. BUT their replies often do not make it. There is some rejected message they're receiving. Earlier in the week some texts to emails with the return address in the format (for example) 732-123-4567@vzwpix.com were going into Comcast's spam folder but now they just seem to not make it through. Is this a known issue? TIA.

It would be nice if Comcast updated the YouTube on Xfinity app to allow sharing of YouTube links via the TV to someone else's email.

Despite being signed into our YouTube account -- the X1 YouTube app more often then not does not keep the place in a video we left off. Frustrating with the longer 2,3 hour vids.
Happens no matter the method of leaving the video - pausing first. Just hitting exit. Coming back and going to history often the red line just doesn't 'stick.'

This is nonsense that this is going on for so long in a thread marked 'Solved.'
We've had the same problem intermittently from time to time over the past few years. Typically it lasts a few days to a week plus and then it goes away.
The unresponsive or slow to respond X1 remote started being slow again 3 days ago. It typically is fine during the day and then it starts to lag around 4-5PM ET and later. Resetting the box 'fixes' the lag 100% of the time but only for a short period of time. The earlier the problem starts and the earlier a reset is done = the greater chance it will happen again during the later evening. It is almost 100% of the time functioning fine the next morning at roughly 5AM ET whether a reset was done or not.
Batteries are new. Line of site is fine. Within 10 ft of the box. WORKS on the TV no matter what.

This is now switching shows marked 'unwatched' to 'watched' not only upon the X1's daily update but every few hours as well.
How is this possibly taking so long to fix?

Have the same thing. It sets up, it says this episode or all, everything looks fine. And then, nada. It won't record MotorTrend's Motorweek.
