I have also had problems over the last week or so with most of our devices losing Wifi connection. It seems to affect the phones and tablets the most but rarely the laptop or the PC. The distance to the router makes no difference. I haven't checked if the firmware is being updated or not. Performing a hard reset on the router works for a while; the last reset lasted a couple of days, until just 10 minutes ago (I'm using the laptop now but my IPad, my wife's IPhone, and my daughter's Google laptops won't connect). It seems that these Arris modems are garbage and Comcast needs to get something more reliable.
