I have received the same email, starting April 30th, on my comcast email account. I only opened cause the subject showed an old password...
I called the police, they know about it and just said to check passwords and do the usual security checks.
I got another the following day. I didn't open just deleted. Is this the best way to deal with this?
So, looking through all the responses seems that no one feels these threats/blackmail are going to be acted on by the senders/blackmailers?
*What I have understood so far is that security checks with norton or simular is first defense. (I do this, norton is active but never showed any alerts.?)
*Delete email(s) do not open. Please explain what opening the emails trigger if any to the senders/blackmailers?
*check change passwords
What I want to do is delete the email account I have and start a new one on @comcast.net.
Any one think or advise taking that action?
