I assumed the deal had not been completed since I was being told that negotiations were ongoing with WGN and that was part of the problem. As to the inflated bill - my total "out the door" bill went from $200 to $240 in one month with same services (both had WGN & CMT). Guess "inflated" may be a relative term, but $40 from one bill to next for same service is inflated to me. My increase had nothing to do with WGN which per agents was being negotiated. My point was after my bill went up, I called to complain. They said CMT had gone to a "sports package", and WGN was no longer available to me due to negotiations. I've seen evidence in forums that negotiations have been "in process" since 2019. It appears that had I stayed with previous package that had both WGN and CMT at a $40 increase, all would have been good. I was not made clear to me that by going back to back old package at $200, I would lose those 2 channels that I had before at same price. Called back and was told they would add CMT back as bundled with a "Sports" package I don't need (for $10 more - now bill is at $210. Also told I could not add back WGN due to "ongoing negotiations". I feel like I was penalized for questioning an increase of $40 with no improvement in channels/service. I doubt that was the case - just venting a bit because I don't think it was right. In hind sight I should have taken the $40 increase in stride - wish I could. Just not wired that way. Sorry for length, but needed to clarify to response to reply to my original post. BTW, I had the package in which all my services were "bundled" ( Blast Internet, Preferred TV Pkg, and Phone). their website shows this package with addition item - Home Security - for $130. I don't want nor need home security, So I thought I could get the 3 without Home Security for $130 or less. Nope...

Count me as another dissafisfied customer because of what they have done with WGN. I called and asked what they could do with my inflated bill without taking away channels I watched reguarly. Well, they did give me a better deal but then took WGN and CMT off without informing me. When I called back to complain they said they would add them back with a "sports package" for another $10, which was still a better deal than what I had, so I agreed. They gave me the same line I have seen in this forum about their "negotiation" with WGN" and it would not be available until negotiations were settled. I've been a long time Comcast customer and never been more dissatisfied with how this WGN debacle has been handled. Come on Comcast - get your act together and take care of your customers. At least be honest with them. Had I known I would lose WGN by changing packages, I problably would not have done so. In looking at the forums, this issue goes back to mid 2019. It doesn't take that long to negotiate to keep a popular channel so you can continue to provide it to customers who enjoy it. I'll no longer be commending you to others until you settle the WGN matter, and will be looking at other providers to see what other TV service is available to me.
