I just got the gig service with the xFI Advantage Gateway. When I tested the speed after the initial installation, I was able to get above 900Mbps (with speedtest.net) and over 950Mbps with the xfinity speed test while having my PC directly connected to it. Since I already had an Orbi RBR50 mesh system with two satellites (I have the satellites hard wired to the router), I put the xFi gateway in Bridge Mode and hooked it up to my RBR50. But now the speed has dropped to 600-700Mbps (tested via speedtest.net) and around 750 when tested through xfinity's own speed test website.
I'm not sure what am I doing wrong of what setting do I need to check/change.
Anyone has any ideas!?

I have the Orbi; what happens when you put your XB6 out of Bridge Mode?

Robert,
Thatnks for replying.
When I originally got my gateway, it was not in the Bridge mode and I was getting above 900mbps. The speed dropped as I put it in the Bridge mode.
I even tought about keeping the bridge mode off and just turn its wifi off and use my orbi in AP mode but there was no option on the gateway's setup allowing me to turn the wifi off.
I avoid using it out of the bridge mode with my orbi due to the conflict that they will create with the wifi signal and the IP address assignment.

Thanks, EG.
But since I have the xFI Advantage, it sayes it right at the bottom of the page in the link that you sent:
"You cannot disable your WiFi network in Xfinity xFi"
Are you saying that all the instructions that are given for disabling it are not accessible or do not work ?
Since I have the Xfinity xFI gateway, the second portion of the instruction is applicable:
But as it says it in the title, you only can "Hide" youe WiFi network and not turn it off. It notes it in the very last line of that page:
Note: You cannot disable your WiFi network in Xfinity xFi.
