very frequent disconnects in internet service
Hi all,
I started having an issue with my internet cutting out intermittently about 2 months ago. It drops for anywhere from 1-10 seconds and comes back up. I have called comcast a few times and they will not send a tech to check the lines or the tap. I use my own modem. At first, I used a modem that worked perfectly at my old address with xfinity. I thought these timeouts were because it was nearing EOL so I replaced it with a brand new Netgear CM700 and the disconnects kept happening. I looked in the modem logs and I see a lot of T3 timeouts. I've got a constant ping to google going and I see it timing out during these interruptions in service. I also have a constant ping to my router going and it does not time out. This troubleshooting is happening on a wired connection.

still happening over a dozen times a day. xfinity will not send a tech out. I have called multiple times and chatted. no help from anyone.

ping script. put it in a for loop so i can print the date/time before each ping attempt. also didn't want to do a constant ping so i let it sleep for 10 seconds.

I'm having very similar issues and have been unable to get a response from Comcast or through this forum. Hopefully, you'll have better luck as the issue is likely ingress noise in the plant outside your home.
