"Weak Securityl"

Several people have posted on Nextdoor that since an Apple upgrade, we are getting a

"weak security" message on our Wifi connection with Xfinity.

One person posted that the router needs to be reset to WPA 2 or something to that effect, but I don't know how to do that.
