Like most of you I'm working from home, and I teach classes online. 3-5 days a week my internet dies, always between 3:45 and 4:00, for 15 minutes, then it comes back. I didn't bother me so much before, but now I'm now teaching a class from 3-4:30, and its really an issue.
I've called about this a few times.Technicians have come out twice, they replaced a filter at the pole, they've replaced wire, they replaced my switch, nothing helped. My signal strength is great, it just dies during those times.
I hate to say it, but the people you talk to when you all aren't very helpful. Besides hearing nothing much but all the others talk in the backgroud, all they do is reset the switch remotely, and of course that doesn't help at all.
So I just got off the phone with them again, and all they did was reset the switch. Anyone else have a similar problem, and if so, was it fixed? My next move (and I told the rep this) will be to cancel my comcast and go elsewhere. Of course, they don't care.
