Re: disable xfinitywifi

Are you certain this is in your house and not your neighbor's house?

Also, if my kids were continuously violating the rules I set up for internet use, they get their devices physically taken away for a time, and they're returned with administrative control by me. As the parent, you have the right and responsibility to enforce the rules you've set.

Re: disable xfinitywifi

Are you trying to disable your in home private WiFi network or the additional xfinitywifi public hotspot that the gateway device also broadcasts ?

As for whether it is yours or a neighbor's broadcast, as a test, unplug the gateway and see if that broadcast name disappears. Then plug it back in and see if it reappears. If it does, then you'll know that it's yours.

Then you can't unless you talk to them.
