Every time I do Zoom, I have problems with the message "Internet connection unstable" and things freeze.
I've had them reboot but it's still not fixed. What should I do? Zoom is my lifeline!
Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
I have this same issue and it's intermitten so I cannot pinpoint the "why". I get ~ 400mbps download and ~17 mbps upload so it's not a bandwidth issue. I've restarted the gateway but like I said, it's intermitten. I had a zoom meeting last night where it happened about every 5-10 mins and really created issues.
As EG suggested, if this is Wi-Fi, I would try ethernet first. On Wi-Fi, I generally can't get through a Zoom or Skype meeting without multiple issues, but on ethernet I have never had an issue. Even if you do continue to have issues, at least you'll know you've eliminated that variable.
