Zoom/Webex intermittent connection issues

I have been continually frustrated with the fact that even as the only device connected to our Wifi on a Zoom call that every five minutes or so I get a message that my internet connection is unstable. I have seen the issue across all device types, iPads, Macs, my kids school Chromebooks, and it's almost clockwork every 5-8 minutes of connection instability including Webex or Teams.

We have the latest Xfinity route, we do have an Apple Airport Extreme connected as well, but the issues are with direct wireless connection to the Xfinity wireless. Is there any setting to change or test to run to determine what is happening?

My speedtests are extemely fast, at least 50mbps but routinely well over 150mbps. It's endlessly frustrating and others on the same video conferences are NOT experiencing the same issues. It appears to be something within our house's network.

While troubleshooting video conferencing issues in a former life, we would run into timer issues where keep-alive timers would time out on a regular basis and connections would be dropped causing issues.  Increasing the timer settings would resolve the issue.  This could be router settings causing the issue.

For a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the Comcast router with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?
