Xfinity log-in software

For years I've used a Arris SB-6141 modem and D-Link DWL-6700AP WiFi.  I have 3 computers in the house that worked well with this set-up.  A week ago my internet was out for several hours and when it came back there was a Xfinity log-in screen that I had never seen before- and now every day I have to log in with this screen which is an anoyance.  For seveal days my other computers continue to work without having to log-in. Then starting yesterday neither of these computers can reach the internet all.  I think Xfinity has done something- (like switched to IPV6?) so that without the log-in solfware my other two computer can't connect to the net anymore. How can I get the log-in solfware for these computers so they can connect to the net again?

Just to let everyone know- I fixed my problem. I got a new router/wifi and now all computers are connecting again.  Why this was suddenly necessary after all these years I don't know but I'm just glad to get everything connected again. Smiley Happy

I believe the login screen is for the hotspot, xfinitwifi and not your main ssid, check to see what ssid you are connecting too, if you cant see your main ssid, whatever you have it set to, I would try to reboot everything

I had written a quite lengthy post but I think I can make it much shorter now. It appears that Comcast(Xfinity) in my area has switched to IPv6.  As a result, none of my computers- accept the one I using now- which I think Comcast put some software on- is able to get the internet even though they are using the same WiFi as this computer.  So my question is- what do I need to do to make it possible for these other computers to use the internet?

Thanks- Nakayle

I have not seen the log-in screen lately but I still have the same problem:

I have 3 computers, all running Windows-10 and all using the same WiFi.  All worked fine with the internet until October 15, afterwhich only one computer- the one I'm using now- is able to get a internet connection.  I beleive Comcast has switched from IPv4 to IPv6 and aparently these computers lack some necessary solfware to use IPv6 so what do I need to do to get these computers online again?
