Xfinity is having significant issues with keeping upload capacity during the workday
I've been trying to reach out to Comcast / Xfinity but without a satisfying solution "we have exhausted all our troubleshooting and will document the issue in case you have any future problems". The did nothing but ask some silly questions.
We are having significant issues with keeping a decent upload speed during the workday. The upload speed falls below ~1-2Mbit (from the normal 15~17Mbit) which makes is impossible to do a decent quality work video call (speed is monitored in 15 minute increments by a wired server). Obviously the reason we pay for the package with higher upload speed is to be able to work from home.
The reason I went for the faster package is the increased upload speed which is really essential in work from home environments.
Would appeciate if someone from Xfinity could check if there are capacity issues in our neighborhood or my modem is on frequencies that are saturated?
