Xfinity WiFi to DirecTV Port 80

Hello, recently switched from ATT internet to Xfinity. Everything works flawlessly except my wifi connection to my DirecTV. My on demand etc is very slow and my speed tests through my Directv box are slow. DirecTV said to open port 80 in my router which I have I think done correctly. My speeds aren’t improving. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the links, but I’m not exactly sure if they help my issue. WiFi extenders aren’t needed or at least we’re needed in the past as my modem is in the exact same location and my previous ATT modem. I used the app and did advanced setting and clicked on the DirecTV device and added port 80. Just am not sure if that was what I was supposed to do to open port 80. Seems silly when I had a 18mbps connection with ATT and now have 100 mbps and my directv won’t test out at HD level let alone 4K level like it used to.

There are other options. Google for WiFi repeaters / range extenders, WiFi mesh systems / pods, powerline ethernet adapters, MoCA adapters. Good luck !
