Xfinity WiFi On Demand (Hotspot) Down Since Roughly 10/27/19 in 19147
@ComcastMorgan Hello, I've recently had a problem with a specific xfinity hotspot (both "xfinitywifi" and "XFINITY"). Both have previously worked consistently for the past few months, but suddenly stopped on roughly 10/26/19. No connection can be established to either SSID. I've tried using 2 separate iPhones, 1 iPad, 2 laptops (PC, both with Windows 10), and 2 Amazon fire sticks. The hotspot is broadcasting signal well, but no connection can be made. (For the PCs, it says that it is connected but also says it has no internet.) These devices (well, I've only tested with the 2 phones and 2 laptops) have had no problems connecting to other hotspots (of either name) throughout this time period.
It seems to be similar to the problem listed here: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Your-Home-Network/Re-Xfinity-WiFi-On-Demand-Hotspot-Down-Since-06-15-19-in/m-p/3236397. Unfortunately, that thread died out shy of any public solution as the poster and helper moved to using private messages.
