Xfinity Hotspots

Starting yesterday 9/24/19 I can no longer connect to any Xfinity wifi hotspots on any of my devices, I have two iphones and a ipad . There are several hotspots near here and I have tried several of them. I don't get any error message. I contacted customer support and was informed they could not diagnose the problem with wifi hotspots. This seems a little ridiculous to me.

Anybody else having issues with this problem.

You are in the same boat as several users. This has been ongoing and Comcast will not do anything to help.

I think that the problem is that the wifi hotspots are controlled by the "owners" of the equipment that serves the area.  Once something goes wrong, a quick reboot would likely solve any issues.  But if the "owners" aren't seeing a problem then why reboot?  Then you are stuck till they do.

I've been unable to connect for about as long as you I'd guess.  It's a bit stupid that Comcast can't reboot their own equipment (the rentals) to keep wifi hotspots going.  But I don't expect much from Comcast.
