XFINITY WiFi is not available with your tier of service
Hello, I recently upgraded our account to Performance Starter and understand that I should get 40 hours of Hotspots use a month, but I can't log in. I've searched this error and one person on this forum said that getting Xfinity to change his IP address worked. I called and chatted more than 6 times with support about the error and finally had someone say they can't change the IP on their end because I'm using my own modem. I tried turning off the modem all night but the IP didn't change. I have an Airport Extreme router so can't change my Mac Address to force the change (read somewhere that this would work). Does anyone have any ideas what else I can do? Talking to Support seems useless. Thanks!
