X1 virus protection

When I check which items are being protected it says an Amazon Fire tablet connected to my network on Oct. 8 at 9:57 am. I do not have an Amazon Fire and had no company at the time so what does this mean? Who could have connected to my network?  It has not happened since that time.

Re: X1 virus protection

Did you have a tech come by to do service on your equipment?

Did the device actually receive an IP address from your gateway? Some devices will connect, but will be denied access to your LAN by the gateway without the right credentials.

Re: X1 virus protection

I had gone on XfinityXFI to see if my devices were protected since Comcast is stopping Norton. That's when I saw the Amazon Fire. But I saw my son's device(I-phone) that I had given my password to when he visited. So I think the devices I see I think may be belonging to people who had visited us and wanted to get online.  So I think there is no problem. Apparently once a device connects it stays in my device list. I couldn't find a way to delete them.  Thanks for answering me!
