Wireless networks: 2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz. Can't find the 5.0Ghz network anymore

We have a Comcast Dual-Bank Wifi Modem (about 4 years old) that used to provide two separate wireless networks (2.4Ghz and 5.0Ghz).  We can no longer find the 5.0Ghz network on any wireless device.  The modem shows the 5.0 network light blinking (just like the 2.4 network).  Any help or suggestions?  Thanks.  GE

If you are not using any Xfi Pods, you can try separating the 2.4 and the 5.0 bands and give them two different broadcast names / SSID's;
