Why Do I Have to Reboot 2-3 Times a Day?

Hi, guys,

 

We upgraded to the Gig-speed internet some time ago, along with getting rid of our aging Arris router to the new technicolor one you see in the commercials.  We also got xFi Pods (3) to help with dead spots as our house is thick walls and brick made before connectivity was a thing.  The Pods do help (when the internet works).  

 

Anyway, we have a problem with the internet connection dropping randomly several times per day.  The router still puts out a WiFi signal, but there's just no connection to the internet and we will get an error on our phones (WiFi network not connected to the internet, use cellular data, etc). If you wait it out, it will come back on but more often that not, I am manually going to the router and cutting power then turning back on.    

 

It doesn't really matter what I do, we still have these connectivity issues and don't really know the cause.  I've checked what cables I can see; the router is in the back of the house where the cable comes in, so as far as I can see the cable comes straight in from outside to the router; no splitters.  

 

Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks!

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

The modem's signal stats are good. Are there any modem RF signal error log entries being shown ? If so, please post them as well.
