Upgraded to Gigabit, Now speeds are worse than before.

When i had the 300 i consistently got 350+. I killed tv and upgraded to gigabit on tuesday. Now my speeds start at 400 and drops to 200 by the end of the test and i have multiple errors on my modem. I disconnected all the tv boxes and it seemed to get a little better by maybe 20mbps. Ive contacted Xfinity and all they do is factory reset my modem then tell me there is nothing they can do since they can't send a tech out which is odd since TN is on the list of techs still available to be dispatched. Ive tried running straight cat6 from 2 different pc's and one laptop to the modem and same results. Am i just hosed? Should I just downgrade back to what i had until they can get their heads out of the sand or does anyone have any ideas other than removing splitters and things of the that sort. I do have an injector downstairs installed by the initial setup techs a couple years ago. When i unplug that. i just get a blinking top light on modem.

Your upstream levels are all too high and out of spec, start there.

I went out and removed the 4 way splitter and connected the cable that runs up to my office directly to the big orange cable coming from the street since the modem is the only coax connected device in the house now. Factory reset my modem and rebooted one more time after that. Here is my connection info and logs after doing that.

 

@CCAndrew  What else should i do to help lower that upstream level? All cables are compression type created by comcast techs.

Try taking all the cables off and putting them back on. Somethings up that the levels didn’t change at all. Downstream should’ve went up 7db and upstream down by the same amount. Test your modem at the point of entry to compare house vs inside

Ive disconnected and reconnected/tightened all cables i can find that pertain to this internet. All the tv has been disconnected. I disconnected the injector also. No change. @CCAndrew

Ive seen you guys be able to escalate and get users in touch with the right people. Since i was told they would monitor it for a couple days(that was over a week ago) and send out a tech i assumed xfinity had it handled. Well no one has ever shown up. Can one of you mods escalate this to the proper channels for me please. @CCAndrew
