Unable to connect to the xfinity xpods using XB7-T

So got a new XB7-T cable modem yesterday. Everything went relatively smoothly on switching out my cable modems. Running one single SSID on the 2.4ghz and 5ghz. Everything ported from the now old XB6 configuration. All wifi devices are happy and working off either the 2.4ghz or the 5ghz without any issues.

However i cannot get my brand new xpods (which are brand new so never used them on the previous XB6)  to connect to the new XB7-T. I can see them in the xFi app and I can see them here logged into my account via my xfi browser, but they're showing as offline. Unplugged them, plugged em back in. Restarted the cable modem. I even tried moving them to the same room as the XB7-T. But nothing seems to be working.  I'm kinda stuck. Any idea's appreciated.

Wow they've just all come alive... I did another restart of the XB7 and then they fired up.. So it looks like i'm good.

For anyone else having this issue. Don't rely on just one restart of the cable modem and chase your own tail like i did.

FWIW, my understanding is, and everything that we've ever seen here is the two bands MUST be combined in order for the Xfi pods to be able to function.... Go figure.... YMMV.
