Tired of losing connectivity

I am tired of losing connectivity in couple of devices at least once a week. Last night it was my laptop, last week my iPad. Both devices work perfectly well on my Hotspot so the problem is with the Comcast modem/router. Recently got the XFi modem and been having connectivity issues since then. I am sick and tired of calling tech support and if this doesn't get resolved soon I will be canceling my services. Can someone please help me out? Thanks

Is this with a WiFi connection ? If so, for a test, does a computer hardwired directly to the router / gateway device with an ethernet cable have the same problem ?

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1

Please post the *Downstream Power Level*, the *Upstream Power Level*, and the *SNR* (Signal to Noise Ratio) numbers.

What is the exact make and model number of the modem ?
