Terrible Internet Connectivity - High Ping, 10-15% Packet loss
Hello! I've been pulling my hair out at my current Comcast Internet connectivity....
I've gone through the steps in the guide posted here: https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Your-Home-Network/Internet-Troubleshooting-Tips/td-p/3310447#
- No Service Interruptions according to comcast
- No changes in service
- Equipment/OS (Win10, OSX, Linux) accross modern hardware all exhibit the same slowness/packet loss... Using wired and wireless connections
- Modem is compatible (Motorola MB7621)
- I've restarted/Reset my equipment as stated in above guide
- Went as far as Resetting the configs default
- Modem Signal Levels seem to be okay
- No T3 or T4 timeouts
- Coax/Connectors seem to be okay.. no heavy kinks/bends
- Signed up for 275mbs down... currenting getting between 180-250 on speed tests
- MTR test to www.comcast.net shows about a 15-20% packet loss, PIng shows the same.. These tests were run from a hard wired connection into the router which is connected to the cable modem
