I have been using Sonicwall Global VPN Client to connect to my work for years. Now it has stopped working when I try to connect via Xfinity.
If I use my Verizon mobile phone's hotspot it works.
Is there a configuration setting on my modem/router that will fix this?

Try disabling the Xfi Advanced Security feature as a workaround for now and see. It's buggy ! And there is currently no way for an end-user to whitelist anything;
