Good afternoon Xfinity community,
I recently upgraded to Gigabit internet and received the included modem (model tg3482g). Speeds are advertised to be up to 1000mbps (which I know is not expected) and wifi 5ghz speeds top at 500mbps(down) and 40mbps(up). But worse of all, all connected (wired) devices top out at 10mbps (with an unchanged up speed of 40mbps) regardless if they connected to the switch or router I connected or directly connected to modem itself. Thank you for your help and suggestions.
Did you ever find a resolution for this? I'm experiencing the same issues - chat support was unable to resolve the issue. I'm a new customer as of yesterday. I've tried all the troubleshooting in a number of threads but no luck.
