I have been comcast customer since 2003. In Nov last year, we upgraded our internet connection to 600 MB with comcast rental modem/router. It has been working fine since.
Last week, I decided to buy my own modem/router (Motorola MG7700) combo and replaced the rental unit. MG7700 is specd at 1GB for modem. For wifi it is AC1900
Since then, our internet is quite slow. With direct connection to modem, I get ~250 MB speed and wifi is ~75MB.
Don't know how to get this fixed. Appreciate any help. Thanks!
What do you get for the upload speed ?
Try calling 1-800-comcast and ask a rep to completely remove the modem from your account and to "re-provision" it from scratch. Also ask them to confirm that the provisioning and account data in their database is correct and complete and that the correct configuration / bootfile for your subscribed to speed tier is being pushed to the modem. Hi vinods Have you taken advantage of My Account App to make sure it is reporting you are in the correct internet plan for 600 Mbps. It also has self-help troubles shooting features to assist with the speed.
